Blues Artists
My first love in music has always been the Blues, so the first serious concert photos I took were of B.B. King at the Aerodrome in Schenectady in 1969, then Paul Butterfield at Tanglewood later that year. The band that drew me to the stage front at Woodstock was Canned Heat, a great blues band that like Butterfield did not stray much the pure blues genre. I wished I'd had my camera in tow when I saw Muddy Waters and his band all those times in Rochester, and that Summer in Toronto when he had Hollywood Fats in his band, but alas I didn't.
